Happy Holidays! *** Sunday Night with The Mark Johnson Trio Featuring Liam Laird & Lyle Luckett

Live Music Fans,

We hope you got to enjoy the fantastic shows that our house band, Let Them Roar, put on last Friday and Saturday Night.  I think we set a record for the number of people in the shop because of the special video production in the back room created by Hamilton Pevec and his creative sister, Olivia.  It was the first live concert ever performed in the dark in the front room and the Choir in the audience holding candles gave the room a magical feeling.  The band played my favorite songs from their original creations and it was very cool to have them play along with the sounds of wild birds and rivers.  In the dark.  A special two-night event that was a real delight.

Now, on to the next week, right?  So far, we have one excellent night of live music over the coming weekend.  I got an email from Liam who is back in town after his first year in music school back on the Right Coast.  Looking forward to hearing his sax in the room again and hear some big city stories about his music world back East.  And it will also be very cool to hear Lyle play the room again, as well.  A few years back, Lyle made some rockin live music in the little room with his friends.  It’s great he was able to join in on the night and make some music with the talented Mark Johnson and his trio who will all make some beautiful live music in the old shop on an early Sunday night.  Come on out!

See you at the shows!

Here are a few words from Liam.  Here comes some good live music!

“An intimate evening of live music, featuring some of the valley’s finest musicians.  The “Mark Johnson Trio” will be joined by returning college students, Lyle Luckett and Liam Laird who will all be laying an assortment of musical styles.  You won’t want to miss this show that is sure to bring some cheer and warmth to your December night.
