*** Streamin’ Steve’s 18th Live Streaming Show ***

Live Music Fans,

Once again, we have booked some excellent live music just for your entertainment on a Friday Night.  It will be our 995th Friday Night in a row with us providing some beautiful live music for this little, funky, historic downtown.  Every Friday Night has been different in many ways but the continuing common theme has, and will always be, the live music. Duh.  Nothing else like it, right? Still feels worthwhile to keep the live music going.  Don’t you agree? Please let us know what you think and give us some suggestions on acts to book.  Making it happen every week for decades is relentless and we appreciate any help you can give to keep it rolling along.  We hope you get to enjoy these talented local musicians this week.

We are starting to hear from some brave touring acts that might visit again in the near future like The Resonant Rogues and The Stillhouse Junkies.  And, we get to hear Josefina Mendez with her sweet band on August 28th while she is in the valley visiting from South America.  Trying to make it as good as we can in these challenging times.  So lucky to have all these talented local musicians to keep the Streak going.

See us in our streams! It’s as close to life like as we can get these nights.  Stay well and stream when you can.

Ted has been making live music in the little old shop for decades in many different acts.  Most recently, he has made sweet music with Hell Roaring String Band which still holds the record for longest set at over 3 hours.  That takes some skill and stamina which Ted has along with a gorgeous voice which also runs in his family. Good musical genes. Check him out and become a fan like us. Here’s some words on his latest collaboration with Eric Mitchell.

“We’re two musician friends who are just having fun playing some odd tunes we like and lesser known tunes with killer harmonies and sweet picking.”

“Teddy has played in the valley for over twenty years with Hell Roaring, and a long time ago with the local rock band The Great Unconformity.  Ted even played with me in the shop twenty some years ago, just pulling axes off the wall, before it was the community staple it is today. Tedly really LOVES playing the shop.”

“Eric Mitchell has also played music for years since back working at The Fine Line in Mnpls. Since he moved here, he has played with many folks, often with Justin Anderson in Whiskey Machine.”

Their compositions will arouse your emotions and their performances will elevate your joy. Theirs is the essence of the art. World Class!” ~ David Stuart  Composer, Arranger, Producer

“A musical blend of blue magic–Indigo Mojo is a fun and creative Americana band whose original and cover songs fuse elements of rock, country, and blues.  Drawing inspiration from stars like Fleetwood Mac, John Hiatt, Keith Urban and many more, Indigo Mojo puts their own special Mojo into every song they perform. From their original tune Telluride Bound – a bluegrass-inspired love song for a Colorado town to the haunting ballad If Ever I Cross Your Mind, Indigo Mojos original artistry is unique and heartfelt. Starting their musical journey out of Glenwood Springs, Colorado, this outfit of five will captivate you from the start.”

“Together, Cole Campbell (guitar and vocals), Kendall Spyker( lead guitar), Jerry Larsen (drums), Steve Legersky (bass) and LeAnn Campbell on Vocals, have conspired in creating a rare and special sound circling back to what music used to be; an authentic and meaningful celebration of life.”
