*** Streamin’ Steve’s 31st Live Streaming Show ***

Live Music Fans,

This Friday Night, we feature two talented musicians who have played the room many times over many years.  If you are not familiar with these players, expect to become a fan.  We look forward to another visit and hearing some cool original live music as we march towards another 1000 shows.  Hope springs eternal and Spring is a long ways away again.  As I look at the surprise foot of fresh powder in the yard.  Things can sure change quickly in the mountains, eh?

Enjoy the 31st live stream from the old shop.

FRIDAY NIGHT – OCTOBER 30TH – JESSE COOPER AND RANDALL UTTERBACK – 7:30PM – www.grassrootstv.org/streaminsteves – www.jessecoopermusic.com

CooperTink with Greg Cooperman AKA Jesse Cooper and Randall Utterback

“Randal Utterback has played and recorded with so many people we don’t even ask. From outlaw Telecaster guitar to Gypsy violin, mandolin and dobro. When he is not trying to smash his fingers building houses, he is turning down nationally known touring music stars so he can stay at home and play with us and his family”

“Jesse Cooper the songwriter for most of the musical tinkering, has previously played with Sashay, Bobby Mason and a guest with many national artists. When not herding elephants, you can find him on the bench outside the shop, like when I first heard him play the accordion, years ago.”

“Music can be defined as sounds combined in such a way as to produce beauty of form, harmony and expression of emotion. Greg and Randy will take you on this journey to many different places and times. The stories in the lyrics expressed through vibration of sound are sometimes fictional, sometimes true, but all the emotions are real and have been crafted into a joining of the duo.

“Now after reading this poetic mumbo jumbo from my web page, what I mean is: Greg Cooperman AKA Jesse Cooper and Randall Utterback as CooperTink will bring to my favorite music venue other than Red Rocks. Steves Guitars, a night of mostly originals and exceptional musicianship (Randall can make anybody sound great and just about any stringed instrument ) and Coop when not flying all over the country or risking his person seeking truth, has been holed up in the Black Hills, singing, playing piano, guitar, accordion and yes, refining the harmonica work.”

“It is hard to put a finger on the style of music except that it has soul, and is deep with a meaning under the meaning, unless you choose to listen just to the music and take in all the different styles from bluesy country jazzy, New Orleans and Alaska Folk (I just made that up), but you can sample some of the music at jessecoopermusic.com and decide for yourself. As a duo instead of the 3Tinkers  band, we get down closer to the Roots of Coop and the essence of some really good songwriting.

“Randall has played with just about everybody, and Coop has played with Sashay years back, Bobby Mason, and with a hole slew of incredible musicians  from Anchorage to St Augustine, to the 4th Street bench in Carbondale.  Coop has a back log of originals, and some new ones that are a joy to play and present back in Colorado and home.”

Sounds like another sweet live stream from the old Dinkle Building thanks to GrassrootsTV’s video crew and amazing audio from Ralph Pitt our upstairs wizard of sound.  Check it out!
