Friday Night with Charley Wagner – More Upcoming Shows – Happy Winter Solstice Weekend

Live Music Fans,

The shortest day of the year is tomorrow and, in my book, it’s something to celebrate that the days start getting longer again on Saturday.  I’m part Night Owl but I love sunshine and bike rides. Meanwhile, we are all working harder to stay safe and warm through these short-day months, right?  I’ve learned over many Winters that the little music room can be very toasty and cozy during these months.  It’s too cold to leave the front doors open so the shows turn even more intimate and lovely. So sweet to snuggle up with some great live music with your friends and neighbors.

This Friday Night another talented local singer/songwriter will keep the consecutive streak going in fine fashion.  We started making the live music happen every week in the old Dinkel Building over two decades ago so that local players would have a place to share their music.  Just like this week with Charley.  Come out and hear something new.

And, keep reading this email for a few more upcoming shows in the best little byob music room on 4th Street.  In the heart of this historic little town.  Downtown Carbondale remains a true oasis in the valley for great music, food, drink and entertainment.  Especially when the lights are up and snow is on the ground.  Gorgeous time in the old town.  Leave the cave and check it out.

See you at the shows!

FRIDAY NIGHT – DECEMBER 21ST – WINTER SOLSTICE SHOW – CHARLEY WAGNER – 8:30PM

Charley has been a big fan of the shop for years and is a talented local singer songwriter who has been looking forward to playing a set in the old shop for us.  Like many skilled local musicians he is smart enough to have a steady local job being a major league tree climber and arborist with Aspen Tree Service. He is also a part time roadie for our favorite high school rock band, Sleepy Justice.  But, this Friday Night, Charley gets to headline the night with his Americana brand of music on guitar, harmonica, foot percussion and vocals.  You can bet on hearing some stories as well about the songs.
